Ice creams

Ube nice cream

Creamy like Italian gelato, a tender purple, ready in five minutes and with no added sugar: the ube nice cream is pure magic.

The secret comes down to one thing: frozen banana.

Nice cream à l'ube violette, banane et myrtilles

The all-banana ice cream

Blended from frozen, banana takes on a creamy ice-cream texture, with no cream or ice-cream maker.

Its natural sweetness sugars the nice cream, ube gives it colour and flavour. The result is a light, instant ice cream, enjoyed on the spot or kept firm in the freezer. Simple and stunning.

💜 Did you know?

A ripe banana is naturally sweet: the nice cream needs no added sugar at all.

The chef’s touch

Everything rests on the banana.

Use very ripe, well-frozen bananas: too green, they lack sugar; not cold enough, the texture stays liquid. Add the milk sparingly, just enough to help the blender. Scrape the sides often.

👨‍🍳 The chef’s tip

Always freeze your over-ripe bananas in slices: you'll have a nice cream base ready to use.
