The cake that reveals itself when sliced

The marbling draws all its magic from the meeting of two batters: one vanilla, one ube.

Poured in alternating layers and lightly mixed, they create swirls unique to each cake. The contrast of cream white and purple is spectacular, the crumb stays tender and fragrant. A simple cake, but always impressive to slice.

💜 Did you know?

For beautiful marbling, you must mix little: a simple stroke of the knife is enough to create the swirls.

The chef’s touch

Marbling loves a light hand.

Above all, do not over-mix the two batters: one or two strokes of the knife are enough, otherwise the colours blend into a uniform purple. Alternate even layers for a balanced pattern. The rest is a good, thorough bake.

👨‍🍳 The chef’s tip

For maximum contrast, push the ube dose a little in its half: the purple will stand out more.
