Ube Chai Latte
The sweetness of ube meets the warmth of chai spices. Cinnamon, cardamom, ginger: a fragrant, enveloping purple latte.
Spiced comfort, caffeine-free in its spices-only version.

Sweetness and spice
Chai is a bouquet of warm spices that wake up the milk.
Paired with ube, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger create a latte that is both sweet and fragrant, where the vanilla of ube softens the bite of the spices. A subtle, comforting balance.
Traditional chai contains black tea (and therefore caffeine). In its spices-only version, this ube chai latte is caffeine-free.

Spices reveal themselves with heat.
Infuse the spices in the hot milk for a few minutes before adding the ube: they release all their fragrance. Dose the ginger carefully, it's the most powerful. A ready-made chai blend works very well too.
For the traditional version, steep a black tea bag in the milk: you get a real chai, with its caffeine.
