Royal Ube Affogato
A scoop of ube ice cream in a royal purple, a scalding espresso that melts it, a shower of crunchy shards: the Royal Ube Affogato is our exceptional affogato.
The perfect marriage of hot and cold, of coffee and ube.

The crowned coffee-dessert
The affogato is the art of drowning an ice cream under a hot espresso. Our royal version elevates the gesture.
The ube ice cream, dense and purple, melts slowly under the scalding coffee, creating a contrast of temperatures and flavours. The white chocolate and pistachio shards add the final crunch. An exceptional coffee-dessert, at once simple and spectacular.
Our royal affogato contains caffeine (espresso) and is dressed with crunchy shards that make it a true celebration dessert.

It's all in the hot-cold contrast.
Serve the ice cream very firm and pour the espresso at the last moment, scalding: it's the shock of temperatures that makes the affogato. A cup chilled in the freezer slows the melting and gives you time to savour it.
Use our homemade ube ice cream: its density stands up to the espresso better than a shop-bought one.
