The coffee with character and colour

The Signature Purple Coffee pairs a bold espresso with an ube base and a foamy milk.

The ube softens the coffee's bitterness without masking it, and gives it that spectacular purple hue. The result is a balanced latte, both powerful and smooth, that wakes up the taste buds as much as the eyes. Our signature for coffee lovers.

⭐ The Ube Time signature

Our signature coffee contains caffeine, from the espresso. The ube itself adds none: it just softens and colours.

The chef's touch

The coffee-ube balance is delicate.

A single espresso is enough: too much coffee overpowers the ube and its colour. Pour it gently into the centre of the purple milk for a lovely diffusion effect. A nicely frothed milk softens the bitterness and ties it all together.

👨‍🍳 The chef's tip

Serve it in a clear glass: the meeting of coffee and purple deserves to be seen.

To avoid

The mistakes to avoid

Three pitfalls for a balanced purple coffee.

Too much coffeeThe ube and its colour disappear. A single espresso is enough.
Un-frothed milkThe coffee tastes bitter and flat. Froth the milk well.
Not dissolving the ubePurple lumps. Make a smooth base first.
