Ube and White Chocolate Muffins
A rounded dome, a purple crumb studded with melting white chocolate: ube muffins, dessert edition, are richer, more indulgent, irresistible.
The little purple treat that slips in anywhere.

The dessert version of the muffin
Richer in butter and sugar than its morning cousin, this muffin goes all in on indulgence.
White chocolate melts into pearly chips in a soft purple crumb. Ube brings colour and sweetness, butter the tenderness. A celebration snack, barely longer to make than a classic muffin.
The secret to a nicely rounded dome: a hot oven to start, then slightly lowered, for a good rise.

Discover the recipe →The chef’s touch
Like any muffin, it hates being over-mixed.
Stir the batter as little as possible: as soon as the flour is moistened, stop. Bake in a hot oven for a clean rise. Fill the cases three-quarters full for a fine dome.
Keep a few chips for the top: they caramelise nicely during baking.
